Nicholas (8) and Kurtis (10) have mentioned that they thought both of your books are "awesome". Our eldest son James (12) also mentioned that he really enjoyed reading them especially knowing they are based on true stories.

It was really cool and nice. I liked that Kathy got helped to get home. I liked the dog Honey, and it was nice that the old lady let her see the things in the trunk. It was funny when Kathy thought the door to the attic was in the ceiling, not the door. I was glad her Mom & Dad got her and was allowed to walk Honey with David.

I
am a mother who loves to read to her children. I have a boy age five
and a daughter age two. From publication date of Kat's first book, The
Rocking Chair Rescue, I have purchased her children's books from her personally. My
children LOVE her books. As a parent, it is important to me that the
material that I read my children also teaches some value. And Kat
delivers an important value in every book. Her second children's book,
Lost and Found was a great addition. My children and I thoroughly
enjoyed meeting Kat and her mother when they came to Harwood Elementary
in Vernon. Kat is very personable with children. All three of us
are anticipating the publication of all the rest of the books in the
Davey and Kathy series. I would highly recommend these books to any
parent, or anyone who loves to read to kids :-))
